Take a group of high school students, all of whom must "do time", for a variety of reasons, in an after school
drama program for their detention.
Then add to that Jack Throughgood, who truly believes himself to be the world's greatest teenaged actor!
And Bettina Bragheart, who truly believe herself to be the world's greatest teenaged actress!
And then you have their relucatant would-be actors whom they are going to turn into STARS!
Including a rather obnoxious Know-It-All, a Rifle Spinner in the Marching Band, a guy who is obsessed with Spiderman,
the new kid on the block, the boy desperate to find a date, the girl who is obsessed with Pink, the lovesick girl and another
girl who is out to get her man!
The show is funny. Clever. Clean. Positive. Showing teenagers enjoying life as they navigate through it.
